Are these women stupid?

In the posting below, The CBS Morning News did what the Mainstream press always does when it comes to people defending themselves from attack.



Did you notice the the CBS Reporter kept acting surprised that these women wanted to protect themselves. In Phoenix. where the Taser party was held, the Police caught the guy called, "The Baseline Murderer". He specialized in attacking and killing women. A few women survived these attacks and how many of them would loved to have gone to a "Taser Party" before the attack.
But to the CBS people, If you are w woman, you should just sit back and allow your self to be attacked. That way they have have a story to report.

Speak to it Brother!

In our system of Justice, pepple have the foolish expectation that Things should be perfect. That's why there are so many foolish people who are against the Death Penalty. They say that by killing a murder, we diminish ourselves. Mario Cumo , former Governor of New York would argue that it More expensive to Kill a murder that to keep him in jail for the rest of his life.
The people of Michigan will put themselves to the expense of keeping this ........Person depicted below alive for the rest of his life.



As you can see, if we put this guy we will be soo much less as a society and as individual people. So I say "Let him Go!" Go free to roam about and kill whom he wishes. I particularly want him to go after the Judge, the deputy and their loved ones. I just want to remind people why the death penalty is needed. In his words to the court he has spoken so eloquently as to why he should have been knelt down right there in the courtroom and shot. Speak to it Brother!

Naming a Stadium

The other day, Mark Davis, Dallas radio talk show host was subbing for Rush Limbaugh. While he talked about the political subjects of the day, (This was the day that Ted Kennedy was diagnosed with cancer) he took time out to talk about Football.
The story above is from December 2007 about the construction of the new stadium for The Dallas Cowboys. Mr. Davis noted that with a new playing field comes the sale of naming rights to the stadium and how he hoped that team owner, Jerry Jones would resist the temptation to sell the name of the stadium to some large corporation. Mr Davis suggested that it be called "Tom Landry Stadium". My suggestion is that it be called "Schram / Landry Field".
Tex Schram as general Manager of the Dallas Cowboys and Tom Landry as head coach, took an expansion team that couldn't buy a touchdown and made it into "America's Team". I think that they should both be honored. But as Mr. Davis noted, neither he or I will be Lunching with Mr. Jones to give him our ideas.

Ah well!

Lets talk about Civil War Re- enactments.

For the "God! I am too hip for all of this !" bunch, this is just a couple of old farts that like to dress up and play with guns. Even our "Info babe " that you seen in the clip knew just enough to get through the interview.

Now I will admit, I know much more about Civil War re-enacting that the average person, But I am a amateur historian. What our interviewer (and for that matter, most people) don't understand that these two guys are living out the dream that the men who fought it out close to 145 years ago.

At the end of Ken Burns Civil War documentary, They read the reading of an Confederate veteran. He said that he "Wished that he could do it all again". He would wake up with his comrades, answer the rool , form up with his company and march to the battlefield, Fight the battle with the same bravery as he had all those many years before.

And when the guns were silent, Johnny Reb & Billy Yank would stand up and have a party as Brothers.

If anything, That what Re-Enacting means to me. Living out a long heald dream...........
